"Making
lives brighter"
Our ProgramsCRCC offers a wide variety of programs to treat mental illness, promote emotional stability, and improve the lives of our clients, their families, and others in the community. We provide an array of accessible services including outpatient therapy and counseling, case management, crisis intervention, community education and involvement in Ford County and the surrounding areas. Emergency Crisis ServicesWhen a mental health emergency occurs during business hours, an individual may come to CRCC in person or call (217) 379-4302. A qualified staff person will assess the problem and assist in obtaining needed services. Should a mental health crisis occur when CRCC is closed, assistance may be obtained by calling (217) 359-4141. Mental Health AssessmentsIndividuals requesting therapy, psychiatric services, or case management, receive a thorough mental health assessment to determine the needs, desires, strengths, and abilities of the individual. Specific services are then determined. Therapy and CounselingProfessionally trained therapists provide therapy and counseling for children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment interventions can be provided to individuals, families, or groups, based on the needs of those involved. Areas of intervention include:
Parenting ClassesCRCC periodically offers parenting classes which are encouraged for any parent wishing to improve parenting skills. An established fee is charged to cover expenses. Case Management ServicesCRCC staff provide case management services to consumers who need assistance in obtaining available resources and maintaining a stable lifestyle within their community. Psychiatric ServicesCRCC provides psychiatric services for children and adults with board-certified psychiatrists for individuals who may be in need of psychotropic medication or assistance in the maintenances of their medication. Public Education and InformationCRCC provides a speaker's bureau on a host of subjects affecting human behavior. When a school, club, organization, or church requests a presentation, CRCC will make every effort to supply a speaker. There is normally no charge, but a donation is encouraged. Cooperative EffortsCRCC often collaborates with other organizations to present programs and classes on topics of need in the community. If an individual or group would like to discuss a collaborative effort with CRCC, please call (217) 379-4302. |
