"Making lives brighter"
News and EventsTherapy groups and classes are now forming! The "Children In The Middle" class meets on Saturday, March 6th, from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This group meets court requirements for couples who have children and are separating or ending their relationship. The Parenting Class will be starting on Monday, March 29th and starts at 6pm.
The "Freedom to Choose" class that focuses on anger management starts on Tuesday, February 2nd. This group is for adults 18 years old and older and meets from 4:30pm to 6pm. This group runs for 16 weeks and ends May 19th. The "Healthier Choices" group that focuses on domestic violence issues will be starting on Wednesday, February 3rd from 6pm to 7:30pm for 12 weeks, ending on April 23rd. This group is for victims of past or current domestic violence. Services for Changing Families Divorce Mediation is a private process used by family members who need assistance to resolve a dispute
or decide important family issues. The mediators are trained in family dynamics, communication skills, and facilitative
techniques. The mediator does not make any family decisions and any agreement reached is voluntary and decided
by the participants. With a mediator's guidance, participants work together through a series of orderly steps
seeking agreement and resolution that meet the needs and goals of everyone. Mediation services meet the requirements
of the Illinois courts. They are fully trained, certified, and members of the Medication Council of Illinois. |
